This wearable art piece is light weight and features contemporary Poeblo pottery miniatures.  You’ll also find an ancient pottery piece, two miniature pots, an ancient pottery shard with black lava, and natural stone beads, a vintage marble, and tiny shell disc beads.  There is a tiny natural stone turtle peeking up over the edge of the larger pot.

This colorful and unique Southwestern Pottery Shard Bracelet makes a special addition to your jewelry set.  It is the perfect piece for your southwestern style and is a sure conversation starter.  The cuff measures 3” x 1” across the top.  Built on a base of an old plastic buckle, it is attached to a curved silver tone cuff.  Also, the cuff comes thins out at ½” at the ends.  The smallest pot has the artist's initials on its bottom.  While on the other pot, the larger of the two, the artist marked "R Sandia Jemez N.M.".

The history of the Pueblo Peoples is fascinating!   There are 23 Indian tribes located in New Mexico. The nineteen Pueblos are located all throughout the state and each is worth a visit. Each Tribe is a it's own nation with its own government, life-ways, traditions, and culture. All welcome visitors, but please make sure to check ahead of your visit.
