Garden Art Couture Necklace with Butterfly; Vintage Shoe Clips Costume Jewelry Recycled Assemblage

I love the warmth of this confection – with the butterfly, the old enameled L & N pin with a soft green, yellow faux pearls, and blossoms, chips of glass from an old broken Japanese potted flower – I almost feel the warmth of the summer starting to slide into fall.

Other items to look for, is the Musi shoe clip that makes a nice lattice, a vintage cateye marble, a heart, and a rock (yes, it’s a rock, just the right color and gardens have rocks, right?!)

Beautiful Garden Art Couture Necklace with Butterfly is perfect for any occasion!  The centerpiece is 5” x 2 ½” with the dangle adding another 1 ¼” of length; the chain and clasp allows the wearer to adjust the length from 15” to 20” of length.

This necklace looks great with every color and isn't over powering - not everyone wants to make a loud statement when wearing art.

In my art pieces, I often use SHOE CLIPS - here's more background on them...  (by Shoedivas) were commonly seen in the 1950s and 1960s and are still made today, although not as often worn as they used to be. They were worn in pairs and were meant to embellish a plain pair of shoes. The first well-known brand of shoe clips was called MUSI Shoe Clips from the 1950’s. The designer Mr Murray Simon was looking for an Italian sounding name for his brand of shoe clips hence MUrray SImon Co became MUSI Associates sometime in the 1950’s. By the late 1950’s the company had 10 salesmen traveling the country carrying their line and exclusively primarily sold shoe clips. By 1960 Murray Simon started another division of MUSI called Battani Ltd which manufactured and sold shoes.
