Earth Sand & Floral Mini Vessel II Art Couture Cuff

I acquired a set of three sandy colored pottery with painted navy blue, browns, green and white floral designs. This one is the mid-sized of the three with nearly 100 components!
The cuff is edged with a hemp colored cord and then filled in with vintage costume jewelry components; brown moonglow Lucite leaves and beads, green & gold 1990s door knocker earrings, hoops, and gold & navy daisies. In addition, there are some vintage buttons, a cateye marble at the mouth of the vase, and a dangle of sandy blonde wood bead which is attached with a clasp that would allow for changing “dangles” at your desire!

The construction of this sculptural piece rises 1 ¾” from the top of the 2 ½” brass cuff so is a little more substantial in presence, while still being something you could take off the display shelf and wear to a special event – I wear them to please myself at home even when I’m not going “out” – which brings me to…A word about my quality control: nearly everything I create has been dropped a number of times by the time it is finished! Sometimes, it bounces on carpet from a height, sometimes several feet to a ceramic tile floor! As you might imagine, dropping, or wearing them, really tests the integrity of its construction.
