1940s Double Scimitar STERLING Rhinestone Pins
These are amazing examples of the romantic, Hollywood movie era – think Omar Sharif. The handles are huge, dark amber ¾” x 3/8” faceted glass; the hilt is covered with clear rhinestones, and under that are coffin shaped blue stones; the guard is set with clear rhinestones as well as the top edge of the blade. They have a rosy gold wash over the silver.
Also, I have a pair of scimitar earrings of the same era that don’t match but would complement. www.etsy.com/eyeimpact

They measure 3” with swagged chains that create up to 3 ¾” between them; both are marked STERLING; currently they are somewhat tarnished, but I am leaving them that way for the new owner to decide how shiny, or how much to polish without interfering with the rose gold tone vermeil finish. The stones are all present and uniformly aged; pin shanks are straight and the roll over clasps secure. Overall, they are in excellent vintage condition.
