This is one of my favorite styles of HOBE! 1950s designs are just so rich in texture, color, and sparkle! Over the years I have owned this set, sold it, re-purchased it because I was wondering why I’d let it go… finally figured it out that the colors just aren’t flattering to mine – so here it is! Perfect for a collector or on another complexion.
This breath taking, get-your-sunglasses-baby, set is orange aurora borealis with clear aurora borealis rhinestones all prong set in gold tone plated metal. There is minor wear showing in the gold tone plating on the back side of only the necklace and earrings (original owner must not have worn the bracelet much.) All pieces are marked HOBE.

This vintage rhinestone necklace, bracelet & earrings set is perfect for any occasion. Each piece is includes small square block sections. Therefore, giving it flexibility. It adjusts in length from 14 ½” to 16” with a hook and tail clasp, is 5/8” wide and the center section is 2 ½” long.
The bracelet is 7 3/8” x 1”. Equipped with a fold over clasp, there is also a safety chain for security.
The earrings are 1 ¾” x ¾” – are equipped with the Hobe’s patented roller cushion clips (therefore making them more comfortable on the earlobe.)

He produced costume jewelry of exquisite quality known not only by retail businesses serving public fashion but to Hollywood theater and movie production.
In the 1950s – 1960s, advertising for Hobé could be found in many woman’s magazines and carried in better department stores in fashionable color combinations for the perfect accessory for classic, quality clothing.
