Toy China Teacup Art Couture Cuff

Sweet tea might have poured into this tiny cup at a make believe “Tea-time” somewhere in its past. The cup (and a pitcher) was orphaned, and now has a new life of whimsy surrounded with vintage costume jewelry components.
Look for some of my “signatures”; a vintage marble, something that dangles (both have a spring clasp so it could be changed out for another if you please), and caviar paste to finish.
So, what is caviar? Tiny glass beads mixed with glue to make a caviar paste to hide any glue, unsightly findings, and in general enhance and strengthen the piece. It is something that takes extra time, but is the difference between ordinary and SPECTACULAR! Kind of like the difference between a fried egg and a souffle; a dash-out-the-door makeup job and a look-like-a-movie-star. I think you get the picture…
It has a sister piece made of a pitcher from the same set – wear one on each arm or display together.

All the components are atop a 2 ½” brass cuff. There is some adjustment in size even though every surface is covered because of the flexible adhesive used.
BTW, while its not dishwasher/microwave tested, the kind of adhesives I use putting these together, they will handle a light dunking in sudsy water without problem.
