It started life as a trinket box dismantled to use the snowman head – the way he is hovering just above the surface and flotsam gives it a “Kilroy Was Here” look!
There is a Dept 56 Snowbabies 1993 angel with trumpet, a gorgeous enameled poinsettia pins, star confetti 50s earrings, faux pearls, a tiny angel, and a couple more snowmen. One of my favorite components is the cateye marble in a coordinating color beneath the orange carrot nose!
More than 40 items are affixed to the top of the 2 ½” brass cuff, is 2 ¾” at its widest point of the design; and rises 1 ¾” above the brass base. It is edged with a soft, ivory crepe fabric cord that probably was part of a 70s self-tie belt. The finishing caviar paste is also ivory.
