HOBE G.F. Sterling Bandora Face Heart Brooch
This gorgeous Hobe iconic Bandora “Mud Man” is bezel set in Gold filled Sterling with aquamarine stones and elaborately filigreed leaves and flowers. This brooch has an extra dangle at the bottom of the heart shaped brooch.
It measures 3 1/8” x 1 ¾”. This highly sought collector’s piece is in excellent vintage condition.

William Hobé was the son of a master goldsmith, and it's fair to say like father, like son. Becoming a master jeweler himself, William opened his own company "Hobé Cie" in New York to produce costume jewelry of exquisite quality known not only by retail businesses serving public fashion - to Hollywood theater and movie production.
His creations made of Sterling often have Gold Filled accents, were primarily produced during the 1930s through the 1950s and are highly collectible.
