Greatest Story Ever Told Nativity Art Couture Cuff

The nativity used to be the top of a trinket box and is the focus of this cuff.

Then, I added repurposed vintage costume jewelry: wooden buttons with colorful rhinestones, twisted strands of wooden beads, worn golden mercury glass beads from an old tree garland, a golden clear marble is at the back window so that the light shining into the stable would be like the star-in-the-east.

Symbols of the “Greatest Story Ever Told” –  a dangling agate cross, a tack that reads, “Y’SHUA”, a golden lamb, a harkening angel, a butterfly (new life), acorns (fallen seed that grows into a mighty oak) from our daughter’s Atlanta home, a couple polished rocks (foundational corner stones.)  The wooden components not only match the colors of the ceramic nativity, but also are representational of the wooden cross He bore at the end of His life here on earth.
