Hand painted Talavera dragon fly is in a golden sweet potato (not yams) color. It almost looks tropical – art glass beads, bugle beads, and vintage jewelry… be sure to look for the old marble. I lost count of how many components were used in this piece at 127!

This beautiful dragon fly necklace has a centerpiece is 5” x 3” with the hinged dangle adding another 2 ¼” of length; the chains will permit the wearer up to 21” of length.
By the way, in construction, I use tiny glass beads to make a paste called caviar to hide any glue, brass plate, and in general enhance and strengthen the piece - it is something that takes extra time, and materials, but is the difference between the ordinary and exceptional… you know, kind of like the difference between a house fly and a dragon fly!
