Black & Turquoise Fused Glass Necklace | Vintage Costume Jewelry
This necklace has it all!
The ornate shiny silver pieces on either side were formerly earrings that I suspect were made by Brighton – the silver rope chain actually loop behind them to slide freely while being adjustable in length with the spring clasp.
The centerpiece is 3” x 1 ½” on a silver tone plated chain that extends up to 19” in length so the wearer has some flexibility in clothing necklines. Or… if left on display, the colors really pop tastefully.
I like giving these bits of beauty (fused glass) new life because the colors are so rich

This delightful fused glass necklace includes fused glass of green, turquoise, cobalt blue dots and streaks of black. Furthermore, there is a tiny clear marble, a lacy silver butterfly, and clear rhinestone accents.
More about Brighton:
The Brighton Company was founded in Industry, California in 1991 and oddly enough started with a line of belts. However, over the decades, it evolved into multiple lines of accessories designed all “in house” and followed through construction; and distributed nationwide and beyond.
If you find the Brighton pieces develop any tarnish, just rub gently with a cotton cloth – the lacquer finish can be damaged if the polishing is too abrasive.
