Ebony & Ivory Elephant Art Couture Cuff

Bio:  Noble & cunning, this pachyderm donated one tusk to an ivory poacher and now wears a prosthesis… I have gathered many broken pieces of genuine ivory, black glass, obsidian, shell, ivory of other origin, old buttons, a domino piece, shoe clips, braided leather tether, vintage pieces of wood and faux botanicals.  And, there are the old marble and dangle signatures that I put on very piece I create. Frankly, this one is museum quality and if it hadn’t sold so quickly, I would have been submitting it to juried shows.

This Statement piece is built on 2 ½” wide brass cuff; and rises approximately 3” making the overall height 5” and 3” from side to side (at the center top of the cuff.)   It will slide down towards the hand on a 6½” wrist to make it fairly stable and wearable, but without adjustment it fits a 6 ½”- 7 ½” wrist.
