Balinese Painted Balsam Wood Face Couture Neckpiece

This black-haired exotic beauty came home with a friend who had been to Bali and since it is made of balsam wood, it is very lightweight.  Her face has wonderfully detailed eye makeup of red, black and blue; arched eyebrows; red & white bindi mark on her forehead; and red lips.  She is wearing a headpiece carved and painted in several layers.

I added loops and beads; and the yellow/brown seeds alternating with triple blue seeds.  Her collar is made of a textured black leather shoe buckle.

Spectacular statement piece that will be equally fab displayed on runway couture or as wall décor.
